I found some ‘lost’ images of comet Holmes taken on 4.11. This is a LRGB image made of those ‘lost’ images. The tail is visible and have some nice blue color.

Yesterday we had a moment of clear skies and I used it to catch this big ‘jellyfish’. Holmes is closing star Mirfak and it’s a nice pair to image. Equipment TMB80 APO w TV 0.8x and STL11K. Exposure 14 minutes total.

I have combined images of comet 17P/Holmes from 4 different nights. Dates from left to right: 31.10, 1.11, 3.11. and 4.11. Comet is crowing rapidly in size as you can see! Since 4.11. it has been cloudy and I’ve not been able to continue my series.

I made a combination of Comet 17P/Holmes from three different nights. You can see the movement and the comet getting bigger. I hope I can continue tomorrow with a new picture.

I was able to take one RGB frame each and put those together as LRGB image. Total exposure time is now 5 minutes.

I took this image an hour ago. This comet has been very popular target lately due to it’s sudden brightening. It is clearly visible to naked eye and with binoculars it’s spectacular fuzzy ball. This image has been taken with STL11K and TMB80 APO in my new observatory.
